In these pandemic times, one of the joys of being in a town with a market is the opportunity to shop outdoors in the fresh air, enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of the environment. There is something special about being attended to personally as you select fresh food that has been grown or made locally. This series of photos shares my impressions of a community that converges with local birds at the foot of a cathedral in South West Germany for Market Day.
