Intelligence Underway

It seems like so long ago that I posted the Arts & Culture Texas preview of Intelligence, Jake Heggie, Gene Scheer and Jawole Zollar’s new opera, and now I’m three performances into its World Premiere run at Houston Grand Opera and about to start recording it with the Grammy winning label Soundmirror.  We’re also doing one very special performance for an opera house full of high school students which is going to be incredibly exciting!

It’s been such a wonderful experience to work with Khori Dastoor and the amazing team at HGO to bring this important story to the stage and conducting it has been a great privilege and pleasure.
