Last summer, while I was working on my third Children‘s BBC Prom, I was invited by the Guardian newspaper in London to write an opinion piece about my experiences developing and presenting shows to interest younger audiences in orchestral music. This was my first time writing content for a wide general audience and I found the process, from concept to draft and from editing to publication absolutely fascinating. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
