The Voracious Student

Back in June 2021, out of the blue, I was invited by Canadian Broadway performer Denis Lambert, to be on The Voracious Student, his bi-monthly podcast focusing on acting, music, dance, spirituality and show business. When his email invitation arrived, I was immediately intrigued by the name of his broadcast, since I consider myself a voracious student too!

At the time, I was right in the thick of preparing for The Time of Our Singing at La Monnaie in Brussels, so it wasn’t until early October after the show had wrapped and I was back in Germany, that we were able to record.  

I was days away from my departure to Trinidad, travelling trans-Atlantic for the first time since the pandemic started, but we just squeezed it in, and it was such a pleasure!  As a beginner podcaster myself, it was really interesting to see how Denis handled an online interview, something I plan to do on  my podcast when I finally get around to Season 2!  It’s coming, promise….
